Here is our revised itinerary, now leaving Thursday morning instead of Tuesday night.
Day 0: all day on the train: Luton > London > Glasgow > Mallaig
Day 1: Mallaig to Elgol
Day 3: Elgol to Portree
Days 4 / 5 / 6: based in Portree
We may spend a day out sightseeing without bikes. I am keen to do a Skye Wildlife Tour. But we do have some ride options scoped out in advance:
Day 7: Portree > Glenelg
Day 8: sightseeing based in Glenelg
Day 9: Glenelg > Invergarry
Day 10: Invergarry > Ft William
